About me
Hello, welcome to my shop. I worked for a large medical device company for over 25 years and, in 2023, I decided to quit and pursue my passion in woodworking. I've been making furniture as a hobby for over 15 years and my shop is in the Jura mountains near Aarau.

I handmade this custom keepsake box out of Swiss oak and maple. The inner boxes are made from Swiss cherry and the dovetail inlays are made from walnut. It has a Kumiko top with Japanese Awagami Unryu paper underneath. Kumiko is a Japanese technique of assembling wooden pieces without the use of nails. I made only one of these boxes.
