Hello, welcome to my shop. I worked for a large medical device company for over 25 years and, in 2023, I decided to quit and pursue my passion in woodworking. I've been making furniture as a hobby for over 15 years and my shop is in the Jura mountains near Aarau.

I handmade this Shoji lamp out of a beautiful piece special walnut. It has a Kumiko top and Shoji panels on the sides made from mable with white handmade Japanese awagami unryu paper underneath. Kumiko is a Japanese technique of assembling wooden pieces without the use of nails.
It comes with either a 15w 85 lumen bulb or a 25w 250 lumen bulb already installed. The bulb should last many hours but if you need to change the lamp, one of the Shoji panels come out.
These are made by hand in my small shop. They are not made in a factory and its possible to find minor inconsistencies in the wood.
