Hello, welcome to my shop.
I’m passionate about creating beautiful, handcrafted furniture – a journey that began over 20 years ago as a simple hobby and has grown into my full-time craft and business. From my small one-person shop in the peaceful Jura mountains near Aarau, Switzerland, I build each piece completely by hand, using traditional joinery techniques without screws wherever possible to ensure strength, longevity, and beauty.
I specialise in custom furniture design and fine woodworking, creating everything from Shoji lamps with Kumiko panels to elegant oak wall cabinets, benches, keepsake boxes, and unique wooden decor pieces. Each project starts with careful planning and design, often using SketchUp to model every detail precisely before cutting wood. This process ensures that your furniture not only looks beautiful but also functions perfectly in your home.
I would love to design and build a special piece of furniture just for you. Please feel free to contact me anytime with your ideas and dreams – design discussions and project planning are always free, and I never charge anything until you are completely happy with the design and ready to begin building your unique piece.

Handmade coffee table from Swiss oak. This table has no screws and was built with only hand-carved joints: 2 dovetail joints, 2 wedged mortise and tenons and 1 pinned half lap joint. The wedges and pins are walnut. This table fits over a couch that is no more than 45 cm tall. Its great for holding a drink while you watch the match. The shape of this table is not new but the construction method with joints is. Finished with Chestnut hard wax oil. This table was inspired heavily by Shaun Boyd Made This.
Every piece I make, including this mid-century modern coffee table, is built with precision, balance, and intention. My focus has always been on the connection between design and craftsmanship — ensuring each element feels both timeless and functional. This same philosophy guides all my work in custom woodwork furniture, where each commission is tailored to the space and story of the client.
